For vision-impaired customers there’s the ability to change font sizes to make any book a large print book instantly.

Dyslexic readers have the ability through Kindle’s text-to-speech technology to listen along as they read.

To make Kindle more useful for the blind, they are working on an audible menuing system so that blind and vision-impaired readers can navigate to books unassisted, that is in addition to Read To Me which is already available today. Additionally, a new super-sized font will be added. This new font size will be twice the width and height of the largest current font. These new features are scheduled for release by summer 2010.

Our Amazon coupons page is now set up on the blog. You can check it out by clicking on the link on the right side of the page entitled Amazon Coupon Codes under the “Pages” section.

I just got it set up last night. It’s in a table-style format. There are four headings; Description, Savings, Coupon Code, Expiration.

Under the Description section will be a clickable link of the item on sale and a description of that item.

In the Coupon section will be a code that may be necessary to enter when purchasing the product clicked on. Note: Some items need a code to get the discount and some items don’t. Be sure to copy and paste the code if it’s necessary.

The Expiration section will show the amount of time left before the discount expires.

I think having a resource like this makes shopping at Amazon a lot easier just like our AlertzOn.com search page does too. After all, that’s the whole reason this site exists, to make shopping at Amazon whole lot easier.

I’ve been watching the news reports, checking out the flyers and talking to friends and relatives at our Thanksgiving Day get together. It’s amazing how some people are willing to do things they’d normally not do for even a dying relative, but they’ll do to save  a few bucks.

I plan on sitting at my computer, listen to some nice music with a cup of coffee and shop online. And if what I’m looking for is out of stock at Amazon, I’ll just copy and paste the item number into the Alertzon.com search and let it do the work for me.

If you don’t like waiting in line at retail stores then you probably don’t like doing it online either. If that’s the case then try the Alertzon alerter. Just be careful, it’s REALLY loud. You really could scare someone with it. There’s an alarm test button and a button to shut off the alarm. I highly suggest you test it out first if you don’t want to set off a panic in your house. I’m not kidding! lol. Happy shopping.
